They're also smaller in diameter to fit comfortably in smaller hands. 6' pony length and 4 1/2' mini reins that are adjustable makes these reins good for competition or pleasure riding. 
 
NOTE: Using horse reins on a pony is a difficult task for little hands and big loops created from lots of adjusting are a safety hazard, especially as novice riders leave reins hanging on the ground to drag around and people, ponies or other items to get stuck in.
