Performance Pony Company leather split reins are just the ticket to helping your little rider gain 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥 and confidence while learning the use of split reins!! The leather has enough grip that the reins won't be constantly slipping through their hands and they're smaller in diameter to fit comfortably in smaller hands. The leather also keeps a nice shape, keeping them easy to adjust evenly. 4 1/2 ft. length keeps them from wrapping around the ponies legs and dragging through the mud.
 
 
NOTE: Using horse reins on a pony is a difficult task for little hands and long reins that drag are a safety hazard, especially as novice riders leave reins hanging on the ground to drag around and people, ponies or other items to get stuck in or snagged on.
